Helping America Watch over its Kids
CINCINNATI -- Students at Cincinnati State are heading back to class under a new security system so cutting edge it has campuses across the country taking notice. The system combines two-dimensional schematics with a virtual look and interface that maps the entire school.
The program was originally a project designed to maintain the buildings and cut down on utility costs. It was enhanced to help protect students against campus threats such as fire, theft and violence.

FacilityONE's new facility information solution HAWK integrates building maintenance and security systems to allow schools and other institutions of higher learning to focus on educating future generations
HAWK (Helping America Watch over its Kids) is a comprehensive system for facility management and safety. Developed for Cincinnati State Technical and Community College, the web-based information and data collection system not only identifies maintenance needs for day-to-day facility management, but also helps emergency personnel in the event of a disaster on the college's campus.
Powered by FacilityONE's SmartPrint Technology, HAWK is an intuitive graphical interface that lets you "see" every aspect of the facility and its systems. This empowers staff with the information and resources needed to increase efficiency, improve uptime, and reduce annual budgets up to 15% or more.
